Noisy Neighbours

20 to 11 and my neighbours are having a ridiculously loud party, music thumping, people shouting etc

I don't want to be 'that' person but I think they're being really anti social. How do you deal with situations like these? I don't know these neighbours at all, don't even know what they look like.

I don't understand their behaviour...I can't think why someone would not think this is keeping all the people in the street awake and it not bother them.

If it's a rare occurance in an otherwise civilised family, id just let them have their fun.

The son of my (lovely) neighbour is on h8s early 20s and still lives with parents. Whenever his parents to go on holiday he has his mates over for a party. It's not like it's very often, a couple of times a year, so we just smile at the memories of when DH and I used to do similar.

However if it's a regular thing, that's very different. Speaking to them in civilised way (during the day, rather than while it's happening) would be my ideal. If that's not possible, you can call your local council.
