miniboden is nearly 9 m & has slept through precisely 5 times. this last week she has been up for about 3 hours every night.it goes like this.....
wakes up i ignore for 20 minutes goes back to sleep. then wakes again 45 minutes later & only falls asleep on me - takes about an hour to get her back in her cot. try feeding but she only takes 2 oz so it isn't hunger.then she wakes again & after another hour I'm so knackred that I have been giving her medised which knocks her out almost instantly.
if it is teething ( we live in drool city at the moment) should I just give her calpol as first resort instead of putting us both through this? after a week of this I'm so tired & emotioanl I just don't know what to do with myself

If she's teething, give her calpol. You definitely don't want to be trying to sleep-train her when she's in pain.

Hey - it will get better and I know its hard to believe but you wont be doing this for ever. Corrie is right - don't try to sort this out if miniboden is teething. I'd try the drugs at the first unscheduled waking up. How much is she sleeping during the day?

Agree with Noodle Stroodle. My DD is 8.5 mo and this is the first relatively good sleeping week we've had since approx Jan (she now has 6 teeth!)
Agree with giving Medised when she goes to bed then again in the night when she wakes. Resorted to giving a Nuk dummy (bl**dy £3.99 but wouldn't take a normal dummy probably due to being bf) smothered in teething gel for her to suck on when waking in night (she doesn't want the dummy at any other time). It didn't always work to settle her but maybe worth a try?!
HTH and it will get better!

thank you - the syringe is full of calpol ready to go! hopefully that will soothe her enough without resorting to category a medised!
