Room to warm

This is probably a stupid question but if my dc (9 weeks) is sleeping through it what is the danger in a room being too warm? It's 23 degrees and she's in her usual sleepsuit and vest (strappy) and in a 2.5 tog bag with one of the inside panels removed. Don't want to wake her to remove clothes as worried she won't go down again (although I will if I have to). I've opened the window but not a breath of wind outside so it's not really making a difference.

Sleepsuit, vest and 2.5 tog sleeping bag is too much for a baby, especially one so tiny.

Just readjust her clothing in future, to suit.

I'd suggest just a short sleeved vest this time of year. Save the full sleep suits for Autumn and consider investing in a 1 tog sleeping bag for the warmer months.

This Is a good guide for clothing required according to temprature:

That's too much clothing OP.

For a room that's 23 degrees you only need a 1 tog Grobag plus a short sleeved vest underneath. A sleepsuit shouldn't be needed with a Grobag unless it's winter.
