Do you bath baby every night? I didn't think you were supposed to. I thought a good wash was good enough with bath twice a week?

We use a bath as part of DS's routine, we have done since he was around 6 months old (he's 2.5 now) he will happily go to bed without a bath if we don't have time to do it or we're home past his bed time.

We have plain water and his skin is absolutely fine

Yep we do, sometimes with bubbles, sometimes just with water. DD is nearly 1 and has never had any skin troubles.

Aside from the fact that she LOVES it, I find that it really helps to have it as part of the bedtime routine. We do bathtime/bedtime at the same time regardless of where we are and so far so good, including on holiday/at other people's houses etc.
