My baby is nearly 3 months old. I'd been trying to follow a loose feeding / sleeping routine.
So far I had:
7:15 Wake and feed
9:00 nap
10:00 feed
11:30 feed
12-2:00 nap
2:00 feed
4:00 nap
5:00 feed
6:00 bath and cluster feed
8:30 bed
He's been going down by himself for naps but wakes after 40 minutes on the dot. I can resettle him if I rock him for 20+ minutes but can't then put him down again.
I've been doing some reading and now realise that it's not normal for babies this age to put sleep cycles together yet for naps and so I wonder if anyone could help me by suggesting a day's pattern with more short naps in it?
Sorry, this is probably like teaching your grandmother to suck eggs but I'm so tired I can't think logically.
Also, what age might he start to extend his naps?
Many thanks
