Anyone else have permanent baby cry ringing in their ears?

I have three times gone to check on my sleeping poppit. I keep feeling pretty bloody sure she is hollaring in 'prisoner cell block I', as we have named her cot (as she stands there, little wee 7 month old that she is, chin just about reaches above the teething rail, crying 'let me out' or what sounds like it, red eyed).

So, off I have been dashing, mad as so she does not think I dont love her, and, there she is. Fast asleep. Just sat down and I can hear it again. Am I going mad, do I have tinitus (sp?), everything sounds like her cry!

Sounds like par for the course
Everything sounds like babies crying to me if i listen hard enough, the dishwasher, the washing machine and complete silence.

And actually when DD was a newborn, I had a constant ringing in my left ear(where i held her) , i thought I had sudden onset unilateral tinnitus and therefore it must be an acoustic neuroma.
Soon realised it wasn't as it got better when she cried less.
Ahh the joys of motherhood
