At what age did your baby manage to fall asleep on her own?

My daughter is 4 months old now and cannot fall asleep on her own. We always need to feed her, rock her or use white noise for her to fall asleep. At some point I did more or less manage the pick up/put down method during day time but recently this hasn't worked whatsoever. Any movement or noise instantly wakes her up...
It would be interesting to hear other parents' experience. Thanks.

My baby is 8yo and now that she can read she's almost getting the hang of it. Seriously though, some babies can and some babies can't - there's nothing you can do about it. Once I accepted that, I felt a lot less stressed about trying to get her to sleep every night. Make sure you get all the help you can with the reflux, both mine had it and I know it's awful.

5 months here and dd has only done it a handful of times but doesn't stay asleep long If she falls asleep on her own...
If I feed her to sleep I get a lot longer and she only wakes for about 3 feeds so it increases our sleep...
They'll do it in their own time
