normally has an hour or maybe an hour and a half

he's 3 hours in so far

should i leave him to it, or will this eat into tonight's sleep do you think?

Yes!

Sleep is the best thing. It heals the body and allows the immune system to do its thing.

Don't think it will eat into tonight's sleep at all.

Think about the times when you've been ill. When you start to improve, you just sleep and sleep.

thanks

wish i'd given him his antibiotics before his sleep - he'll be getting his lunchtime dose shortly before his bedtime one at this rate!

He's probably just wiped out now that the ABs are kicking in.

Honestly, sleep is the best for him.

Gives you a chance to catch up, have a cuppa, a bit of peace, etc., too.
