nap problems

Hi All, My 5 month old daughter is a bit of a bad sleeper, always has been really. However recently we've got ourselves into a bit more of a routine...with one problem, she will not take her last nap of the day...even though she seems REALLY tired. Her rough schedule is usually a bit like this:
Wake 7am
Nap 8-8.45am
Nap 10.30- 11.15am
Nap 1.15-2pm
Then she needs to nap at c4pm but rarely does
Bedtime 7pm (or more like 6.30 if she doesn't take last nap)

For the 4pm nap the only way I can get her to sleep is to feed her to sleep or about an hour of rocking! This tells me she doesn't want the nap as she goes down fine herself for her other naps...however if she doesn't nap at 4 then she is so overtired by bedtime I can hardly get her to feed before she's asleep.

Any suggestions would be great?
Thanks

I thinkat 5 months they start to drop the 4th nap. I found this wwbsite really useful www.weebeedreaming.com/my-blog/sample-schedule-4-months-up

Maybe look at ways to lengthen one of your earlier naps which will take you to a later bedtime? It sounds like you're doing good!

Agree with Scarlet she's probably trying to drop the last nap. I think my dd had 3 naps at that age with the last one around 3pm. You could try and shift each nap by 15 mins every couple of days to try and space them out a bit more?

Thanks for your replies...I did think maybe she was trying to drop it but she was always so tired...but yes I will try to stretch her other naps a bit later so she can get away with just 3. I would love her to be able to nap for longer on one or two of her naps as I think she needs it, but she only manages a double sleep cycle every now and again not consistently...I guess maybe this might happen as she gets older?
