Can anyone tell me what bedding/clothes you use on one of these? I kind person has leant me one to try but I'm a bit worried about overheating in a sleeping bag. Room temp is 18 degrees currently.

I am just using a sleeping bag on top of a long sleeve sleepsuit. A blanket during the day. Our house is cold so I don't want DD to freeze. Getting worried about the winter weather.

We have a period granite house which is quite cold too, although upstairs is warmer (single glazed front door and chimney in living room lose a lot of heat).i don't want him cold or too hot either. Tried him in a sleeping bag for a nap and he seemed fine temperature wise. I had to wake him up after 2 hours, never had to do that before! Grin

Yay! Sleepyhead is amazing for naps! Hopefully it will produce similar results at night too.

Dd is in 2.5 tog sleeping bag with short-sleeved vest and babygro under. Room temp 19-17c depending when in night it is. She seems fine. I think sleepyhead stops draughts round the edges but doesn't really change overall temp.

He was still up every 2 hours last night but straight back down without a fuss, even though I put him down awake Grin

Blimey, well done him. Long may it last for you. Dd is 19 months and still won't go down awake (even in sleepyhead grand!).

My house is always 20/21 so I have lo in 1 tog sleeping bag and a long sleeved body suit. Love my sleepy head but was not he miracle I wanted - lo sleeps average 2/3 hours per night before waking. Have to cokes him back into it thenConfused

Yeah I'm the same! Had hoped for a miracle worker (especially at the cost!) but DD still waking several times and not always settling. That said, I still think she'd be worse without it. And she does nap in it whereas before she'd go nowhere near her cot in the daytime. So that's something I guess!
