Help - addicted to bouncy chair!

My DS loves his bouncy chair and always has his best and longest naps in it. When all else fails I can generally get him off to sleep by bouncing him with one foot. Tragically he is now almost too big for it - well in fact really he's already too big the instructions say up to 7kg and he is now nearly 9 and the harness barely fits any more.

Does anyone know whether a similar product exists for older children? Failing that, any ideas how I can get us through the withdrawal period? Weirdly he sleeps fine in his cot at night, it's just daytime sleep.

You are a star! I was worried everyone would just lecture on not using sleep props! Whereas in fact what I want is as many props as possible

im glad someone else has this problem, ds wont sleep anywhere during the day except in his bouncy chair but is too big for it now. Think santa will be bringing ds one of those for xmas

well - they are lying down, so I dont really see the prob... DS napped in his swing in the early days, and it was a god send! HV said as long as they werent sat up and sleeping, it was ok...

I agree - and if I was having to put him to sleep at nights in it, it would be different, but daytime sleep I dont' worry as much.
