That Rabbit thing that holds dummies. Does it help when babies decide to launch dummies out of the cot for fun but then scream when they've lost it?! Also I thought it might also absorb some intense dummy love and finally become a comforter for 13 month DS, as I've tried to make him love something, thought it might help sleep. I thought I had cracked it with a raccoon puppet he liked to rub on his face but he's starting to show antipathy to it (DH: "stop putting that sodding Raccoon in the cot, he doesn't like it") basically my previously good sleeper has gone crazy, starting night feeds again, waking loads etc so I'm tackling some things such as settling without a feed and finding own dummy. Anyway, Sleepytot owners pleaseet me know if it helped!

I've never owned a sleepytot so can't comment on that. But do have a suggestion.

Does your DS sleep in a sleeping bag? I saw ribbons on the chest of all my sleeping bags, with a press stud at the end. I then have a dummy permanently attached to the sleeping bag.

This means child always knows how to find own dummy - my DD sweeps her hand under her chin automatically to find the ribbon and then the dummy. Also means dummy cannot be thrown or drop off the cot mattress etc.

I also found this helps in the long run to establish the 'dummy for sleeping only' rule. I work towards the dummy attached to sleeping bag being the only dummy available - so that dummy isn't used when out of cot.

I sew ribbons... (not saw)

That's a really good idea! I just want him to find it. And not to take about 6 up and have to move the cot every morning to retrieve them.

We have one!
I love it
It took a few weeks for her to get used to it but now she has a bigger surface area for her to grab when she resettles herself at night.
Do it!
Though if your lo has a mam dummy you will also need the adaptors they sell on their own site as some mam dummies don't have the space x
