Pillow for a newborn?

DD is a few weeks old and has gotten very windy over the last few days. She doesn't like lying down, prefers to sleep on our chests, so she gets upset going into her moses basket. I know normal pillows aren't deemed safe, so I found this one on Argos and just wondered if anyone had used one, or something similar?

Pillows aren't safe for a newborn even if they are marketed towards babies.
I've been reading up on pillows for my 20 month old and they're not even recommended at that age.

If you do feel they must have a pillow then it's best to have it under the mattress, but personally I wouldn't.

DD suffered with various things that meant we had to have her cot or Moses basket angled slightly so her head was higher.
We propped it up on Argos catalogues so she was at an angle but ensured it wasn't steep enough to cause her to move at all.

We just put wood blocks under the head end of the cot so the whole cot was at a slight angle so no pillow needed.

Stick a couple of fat books under the legs at the top of the cot, then the cot will be angled with no danger to your baby.

Both of my kids slept on angled beds pretty much permanently. That was without reflux or other medical condition. Much more settled if their head was slightly higher. Weird that no cot manufacturers offer a leg extension option Grin
