Waking in the night not hungry

Wondered if someone could help as my 12 wo DD has started to wake more often in the night but just for comfort.

The routine she had got herself in was feeding 3 hourly in the day about 4 or 5oz depending on time of day with 1.5-2 hours awake and 30 mins nap. She has one long nap midday for up to 2 hours as well. She wakes from her final nap at 6ish then we have a bottle, and then bath is 8pm one last bottle and bed at 9. I then dreamfeed her at 11pm and she would go til 5am then. This worked from 8-11 weeks old but this last week she has been getting up either every hour or 2 hours but falling back asleep as soon as the teat goes in her mouth and she will at a push take 1oz but generally just a sip.
She has never had a dummy and through concern that she will become attached to it (like her dad did until he was 8yo lol!!!) I feel reluctant to give in.
Are there any other suggestions to help her break this habit?
Also health visitor suggested she may have started teething as she has red cheeks and a runny nose? Didn't expect that so soon!
Thanks in advance!

Give her a dummy

I would try the dummy, they can actually be really useful and just because her dad had one till he was 8 doesn't mean she will be the same. It's down to the parent to decide when to wean them off anyway.
