She's always been a good sleeper apart from when teething/poorly.
Now she screams at bedtime. Wakes several times a night will sometimes go back to sleep with bottle but has started pushing it away and really crying will settle in our bed but wake early and sometimes starts the day at 3am. I'm broken. Any advice?

That sounds grim. Is there any chance she's getting her very last teeth? Or could she have earache?

Sounds bad, has she been checked out for any hidden illnesses?

Does she nap much in the day?

Night terrors? DD (17 months) has just started having nightmares and it's a really different cry when she wakes up with one, quite frightened. She normally just needs a bit of a cuddle.

Could be teething - those last molars are tough. I'd try Calpol and see if that helps.

DS1 has had nightmares and night terrors, often waking many times a night hysterical and scared and often only settling with us. This has been as a result of a medical condition, but can happen in a lot of toddlers.

Not much advice (sorry!) we are only starting to come out the other side of this now - he's 3.5 - and was on melatonin to help settle him at bedtime. I'm really posting to let you know there are many of us who have been there, as it can seem very lonely if your DC is the only one you know going through this.

Thank you. She was poorly a couple of weeks ago which seemed to kick off the sleep pattern but ears were clear. Yes maybe teething but is fine as soon as I get her up whereas when she's been teething before has been more inconsolable.
