Dreamfeed fail

hello
I've tried dream feeding DS (EBF 3mo) at 11pm a couple times but he still wakes up at 2pm and 5pm regardless. If I don't, he sleeps through from 8-9pm to 2-3am anyway.
wtf? WWYD?
Thanks

I wouldn't bother with the dreamfeed for not, if that was the case.

The feed when you go to bed need not be set in stone anyway, it can come and go from day to day and week to week. If it's making no difference now, don't bother and maybe have another go in a couple of weeks time.

Or on the odd night if you are going to bed yourself and are not seperately tired you might thing you have enough time before you sleep to give a dreamfeed tonight, and give it a try. Maybe the next night you are too tired and don't bother.

It is not a case of "to dreamfeed or not to dreamfeed" like it is a vital decision in the child's routine. Just give a dreamfeed when you feel like it and see if it helps the night and when you don't feel like it and just want to go to bed, don't bother with the dreamfeed.

All will be fine whatever you do Smile

"I wouldn't bother with the dreamfeed for now", not "for not"

Good lord, re-reading I see zillions of typing errors in that post. I think I will start again:

Dream feeding never worked for us either. Wouldn't bother if it's not increasing sleep time!

lol fate very hard to type on mobile I know :)
it's just that every combination routine schedule I read advocates a dreamfeed but it looks like my baby hasn't read the baby whisperer book!

My son never liked the dream feed. I didn't bother, and he was the definition of a routine sleeper (his choice - his demands quickly became the routine, was brilliant.). 7 til 7 from very early on. Don't worry about it.
