Are they worth trying? Can baby still move about in them?

yes I liked them - they can't get down under the covers and it keeps them cozy all night.

allotherusernamesaretaken · 19/03/2015 20:26

They are fantastic! I would definitely recommend them. Dd has been in then since birth and now crawls around the cot in it like a little slug.

Nolim · 19/03/2015 20:27

I love them as well

Ilovenannyplum · 19/03/2015 20:30

I love love love them!
DS has an annoying habit of pulling any blankets up onto his face so being able to zip him in and now he's safe and warm is so handy

Pointlessfan · 19/03/2015 20:32

They are brilliant. DD won't keep a blanket on for 5 mins so it keeps her warm all night including during feeds.

ApplesTheHare · 19/03/2015 20:34

Another huge fan here, they revolutionised dd's sleep!

BikeRunSki · 19/03/2015 20:37

Totally worth while!

Toadsrevisited · 19/03/2015 20:42

Brilliant. Bought mine in Sainsburys sale at around £5 each. Bargain.

FairlyUseless · 19/03/2015 20:47

Yep! Another fan. We used them up to age 2.6. Brilliant invention.

Pancakeflipper · 19/03/2015 20:48

I loved them for my children. Although expensive they do wear and wash brilliantly.

Flissity83 · 19/03/2015 20:49

You won't regret it. My lad will be in them till I can't buy them any bigger

Eminybob · 19/03/2015 20:51

Another fan here.

But get the ones with poppers at the shoulders and the zip that runs round the edge, rather than the ones that zip up the middle and the arm holes that you have to manhandle the baby's arms into!

SewSlapdash · 19/03/2015 20:58

DS has never slept in anything else. I've just bought 18-36m size Smile

Fairylea · 19/03/2015 21:02

Used them for both my dc here. Absolutely love them. Ds is nearly 3 and still sleeps in his! (He's now in the size 3-6 year old ones). He calls them his "baby bag". Grin

cowmop · 19/03/2015 21:07

I agree with Eminybob for little babies, but found that once my 3 started crawling they'd pop the shoulder strap press studs as they did their slug impressions at bedtime. I thought the zip up front gro bags were much better for older babies and toddlers and used them until my children went into beds!

Nolim · 19/03/2015 21:09

My dc is becoming a houdini for gro bags!

WhingeyMinge · 19/03/2015 21:12

LOVE them! DS has been sleeping in them since birth, he kicks all his blankets off so at least I know he can't get out and will still be snugly and warm enough Smile x

PontyGirl · 19/03/2015 21:15

they are fab! I only use actual grobags, we get them cheaper from to maxx

PontyGirl · 19/03/2015 21:15

*tk maxx

ThatBloodyWoman · 19/03/2015 21:15

Absolutely brilliant -used them with both of mine.
Particularly good if you stay away from home,or have to move them after they're asleep.

applecatchers36 · 19/03/2015 21:17

Really good they can move around and not shrug off the cover. Boden do good ones that wash well.

Andcake · 19/03/2015 21:21

A marvel ds was breech and his legs curled up for a few months and he kicked covers off every 5 minutes. They saved my sanity and are reassuringly safe. We've had a range from gro, mothercare, John Lewis etc
Ds 2 loves them and I dread the day I have to persuade him not to wear them - he toddles v cute in them too.
