My ff ten week old slept from 7.30pm to 7am last night. Is that normal? Should babies go that long without a feed? We have been making an effort to teach her the difference between night and day lately and put a more structured nap / feed routine into place for daytime but still feeding on demand at night time. Also only recently gave up bfing as my milk dried up. Previously we were combination feeding (from 4 days old due to us both being hospitalised - EBF before that).

As long as they are getting enough milk for their age during the day I would be very happy with that!!!

Well done!

I can't decide if I want to pat you on the back or punch you in the face. (Kidding).
A couple of my friends babies slept through from very early on so as long as she's got plenty of wet/dirty nappies and is alert during the day I wouldn't worry too much.
I ordered a Sleeper this time round after getting an Eater/Sleep Refuser first time round. It appears my order got mixed up and I have an Overeater/Puker instead.

You are very lucky Grin baby does not need waking for feed at ten weeks unless underweight.

DS2 slept really well from around 8 weeks & always has done (he's 14 now!).

DS1 & DD did not. Much of it is luck TBH.

Certainly not a cause for concern so long as baby is otherwise well though Smile. Enjoy your sleep!

Thanks all! Mrsnoon, if it makes you feel less like punching me, I kept waking up and panicking about whether I should wake her to feed! Defs not underweight - in 50th centile and alert during the day apart from nap times. I'm sure this isn't permanent, but will try and enjoy it for as long as it lasts!

Fair enough. The first time DS1 slept for 6 hours I woke up during the night, couldnt hear him breathing and in my sleep fog I immediately thought he'd been kidnapped. He then very kindly slept in 4 hour or shorter bursts until he was 2yr6m. Which was nice.
