My LO is 8.5 months and is up every two hours at night. I think I need to hear other stories to make myself feel better... When did yours start sleeping through??

DD 3 still wakes up regularly. But she sleeps through about 3/4 nights a week, which isn't too bad.

DS is 16 months and does exactly what his sister did at his age which is hourly waking!

Ds1 is 3.2. He sleeps through on average 1 night a week since he turned 3. The other nights he wakes 1 - 10 times a night. He has reflux, nightmares, night terrors and leaky nappies.

DS2 is 6 months and better at napping but still wakes every 2 hours at best, every ten minutes at worst. He s ill atm so last night I slept 3 very broken hours.

I have aged 10 years in 3 and the end isnt in sight. It is also why we re not having Dc3!

Interestig about the eating. DS1 is a trouble sleeper but fine eith eating and pretty much everythig else really. Very few tantrums, hit his physical milestones early etc. he just doesnt sleep

Sorry to tell you, but DD was 18 months before she managed to sleep through once, and it's still a rare occurrence. She's nearly 3 and normally wakes at least twice.

She's an earlier riser too...

I take my hat off to you all. Mine were ok, can't remember when they started sleeping through. Although think it's definition is more than 5 hrs at night.

DS1 did that when I was still counting in weeks, but I was up til 2am feeding him when he did it. So didn't feel as if he'd slept through.

My mum always tells me how I was a nightmare to get to go to sleep and how she had to keep me awake during the day from the age of 18 months, even 10 mins snooze would have me thinking 9pm was party time.

Thankfully my DSs are not like me.

What is a normal age to sleep well, 6months??

DS1 (9 YO) is an early rise, but no getting up before 7am rule worked for us. I can hear him going for a wee now, hopefully he'll not realise I'm awake.
