FFS. Go in at 25 mins, give a little jostle and leave. She's not bad at self-settling.

Just wondered if anyone had tried with or without success? Preferably with!

I didn't do wake to sleep but managed to extend DS's naps when he was around 6 months by having him in bed with me and pouncing on him at the slightest stir and rubbing/feeding back to sleep. After a couple of weeks he'd sleep for 90 mins / 2 hours on average rather than the cat naps. It's definitely about getting past the first sleep cycle so I think wake to sleep well worth trying! I think unfortunately that tiny babies just don't sleep in long chunks though and you will probably find it gets easier as she gets older anyway.

Good luck!

It's worked a few times with me but generally it's unsuccessful.

I have had marginally more success with holding my hand firmly on him to stop him moving/rolling over when he stirs. The gentle pressure is enough to encourage him to pop his fingers back in and resettle. I have about a 20% success rate at this.
