Is it possible to get a duvet for a cot (not a cot bed)?

Hi, I want to get my little ones (19 months) duvets for their cots but I can't seem to find one. Does anyone know if they exist? Even ones that say they are cot duvets are 120cm x 100cm and my cot is 60cm x 100cm. If I put a cot bed duvets on there then I am worried that they will cover their faces. I'm on the brink of buying one and cutting it in half to get 2 duvets (good job I have twins!) then making my own duvet covers but clearly it would be easier to buy it. Has anyone found one out there?

Just buy the bigger size and tuck it under the bottom and one side?

Ikea do baby duvets - not sure the dimension but worth a look.

Or you could lay a cotbed one sideways - so the length is fine but the width is wider, and tuck one side under.

Might there be a reason why you can't buy duvets for cotsv Aren't they unsafe?

For under ones, yes, but the OPS dc are over one.

My girls are in cot beds (as beds) and have full sized duvets tucked under the end so I don't see why you can't put a cot bed one in a cot. By touching it under there would be less chance of it going over dc head, I would have thought.

Can't see why it would be dangerous in a cot but not a cot bed??

Maybe because generally younger children are in cots and if they sold duvets for them there would be no doubt some stupid parents who'd give their 5 month old a duvet. Babies overheat easily as well

DD2 is three and still sleeps in a cot with the side off. She just uses a cotbed duvet.

maybe a cot quilt would be better (and smaller) - they do not have a removable cover and are easy to wash

We used to have some from dunelm for a normal size cot.

Verbaudet do small duvets, also duvet covers to fit - I can't remember what size ours is but totally fine in a cot.

remember that some of the quilt will be taken up by covering the childs body and then you need some extra fabric to tuck down the sides - they are not that big at 120x100 (I found them quite small tbh)

I found one on Amazon, a quilt and pillow set.
