My DS is 10.5 months old, breast fed. We're still getting multiple night wakings - I try to keep him in cot, pat and sing. Quite often I end up picking up for cuddle/rock , and my rule is breast if still awake after 30mins. A couple of weeks ago I'd managed not to feed overnight (well at least until 5am) for a few nights. Now it seems we're back to square one with 2 feeds minimum each night and more wakings.

I wondered about PUPD does anyone think it might work at this age? Any other suggestions?

I can't really say if pupd would work! Just wanted to let you know that your not alone my DS is 9mo next week and still feeds 2 at night I got so depressed the HV came to see me at home to help and to be honest nothing worked after a month of hell (screaming fits etc) I am back to 2 feeds a night. And a lovely cuddle
She now advised that some babies are just not ready to give up night feeds due to growing/development?
I know I didn't give you any advice here but I'm hoping just the knowledge that your not alone offers some comfort!
After a full on day at work yesterday DS ended in between DH and I last night just so that we could all get some sleep! X

Hello, my daughter was such a breast addict at night (up to 6 x a night), that in the end my husband had to go into her to night wean her as she wouldn't take no for an answer with me. It took a few nights but then she started sleeping 9 hours straights - here's my blog post on it if you're interested. mydaughterwontsleep.com/2014/02/06/is-breast-best-when-it-comes-to-sleep-apparently-not/
Good luck
