My lo is 5 months old and has slept on her front happily from 10 weeks. However she has recently started to roll onto her back during the night and screams and needs resettling. I was up 5 times last night and that didn't include night feeds. I'm a broken woman today. Anybody have any suggestions or similar experiences?

Gro bag? Make it harder to roll over.

That stage is bloody annoying til they can roll back. Short lived though thank fully

I second a gro bag, my daughter struggles to roll In them, it's why we started using them!!! They also prevent crawling and standing when they are a bit wobbly and darn it, at 15mo she's just figured out she can stand in the damn thing!!

Nobody mentioned that to DD! She can roll, crawl, stand and walk in hers!!

I might tie her limbs to the bars of the cot........... Grin

On a more serious note OP, I found DD started 'practising' the new things she had learned whilst asleep. Started with rolling and progressed to crawling and standing. Made for a few sleepless nights but she soon stopped again.

You have my sympathies, DD was a terrible sleeper until about a month ago (she has just turned 1yr) and even now 7-5 seems like bliss!!
There is nothing worse than sleep deprivation, have some coffee and try not to do too much Brew

I think it's common for them to practice new skills in their sleep/cot, as a PP said. She'll stop when she's mastered it, but I know that doesn't help you!

We used to tuck the end of the gro bag under the mattress to keep her on her back! Worked for a bit. The crawling about in bed thing will pass

Thanks for the gro bag suggestion but she already uses one. Glad though that it's hopefully short lived!
