7 month old crying in sleep

Hi,
I need a bit of advice and help to work out what on earth is going on with my 7 month old DD. For the past week she's been crying out in her sleep- sometimes it's just a whinge and other times it's actual crying. She sometimes wakes from it but will go back to sleep if I go in and tuck her back in as usually she kicked the covers off.
This happens a minimum of 3 times a night, but tonight she's done it 3 times already since she fell asleep at 7. I'm totally exhausted, she must have woken me up at least 6 times last night. She can't be ill as she's a happy little thing during the day, so what's going on with her?!

Nightmare/dreaming?

My 6.5 month old cries out sometimes and talks in her sleep. I'm positive she's dreaming!

She has had a tooth pop through recently, and looks like there's another one on the way. Would teething really be this bad though?! I even gave her Calpol at 12.30am but she was up again by 2am. So tired and I'm now on my way to work!

Tequila - from my own (limited, only one DD!) experience teething can definitely be that bad... DD (10m) has had days where she's just utterly miserable with it, constant grizzling and nothing is right. It was at its worst when she was about 7m incidentally... have you tried baby ibuprofen instead of calpol, it helps a bit more I think as it treats inflammation as well as pain.
Had a terrible night with DD myself, 2 hours trying to settle her in her cot until I cracked at 1.30 am and just got her into bed with me, thereby undoing all the work I'd tried to do for the past 2 hours... so I feel your pain!!!!!

Thanks all, I've had to pick her up from nursery as she's been sick and has a temp :( just waiting to see the GP...
