Cot acrobatics - argh

DD is 5.5mo and has just moved into her big cot (we have a stokke sleepi so she was in the small crib until now). She is a nightmare to settle in her bigger cot - rolls around, up on her front looking around, gnaws at the bars, gets herself stuck, generally screams Confused I've been up for an hour and a half resettling her and am on my knees Sad

Do these cot acrobatics ever stop? Is there anything else I can do to just.bloody.make.her.sleep?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but my 8mo is still doing this. However, as she's getting better at moving, she's also getting better at extracting herself from a lot of the ridiculous positions in which she finds herself. I have to rescue her much less often now. So it does get better, although I've never find a way to discourage it!

Thanks rallytog, hope it gets better soon. Combined with teething and a blocked nose, I think she has been up every hour or so tonight.

Exhausted bump for any other ideas!

Have you got a humidifier? I have a horrible sleeper but that did at least help with the snorty snuffling when he had a cold recently. Is she in a grobag, I find DS gets in such a tangle with his blankets he's better off in one. Wish I had more help, I sympathise totally, lack of sleep is grim. Brew

Oh and when we're completely desperate we just stick him in bed with us, if that's an option for you!
