every evening my DD is constantly fretting from about 6pm until midnight. She tries to latchonto me teh whole time but tehn only sucks for about a minute before giving up. If I hold her she is fine but as soon as I out her in her cot she starts crying. Her legs & arms are going up & down so guess it could be wind but nothing ever comes up. she slepps fine in her cot in teh day but i@m findonig this reallt tough as by 10pm I@m so tired I cna;t rememrbe which boob I put her on or anything.
I know she is ony a week old (& wasn't due unnil the 12th) but this is doing my head in.
any ideas or helpful suggestions gratefully received.

It's early days BB, I'm sure you will both settle into a comfortable routine soon. Just keep in mind that this stage does not go on for ever and good luck.

last night was much better thanks & as i write now she is slepping peacefully so am hoping ahe satsy that way until bedtime so I can top her up tehn> thank you so much for replying & resassuring me that I'm not going mad.
My mw said that its ok to let her go 5 hours between feeds at night & 4 in teh day so I feel abit more relaxed now.
