Co-sleeping in a smokers house

Staying with my parents for two weeks, my mum is a smoker (only in one room, but I know that doesn't make any real difference) we've been here a few days and it's a lot colder so DD (5mths) has been in beside me if she wakes for a feed at night. It's just occurred to me that all the SIDS advice is not to co sleep if myself or my partner smoke, but are we increasing the risk as it's a smokers house? A friend commented that she could smell smoke off the muslins which made me realise that it really is on everything DD is touching, chewing etc.

Could you end your visit early?

Not possible, I've got a flight I can't change. Look out for thread next year - how do I stay in a hotel without offending my parents!!

Co sleeping will not make a difference in this case as it's not you or your partner breathing smoke on your baby all night, it's all over the house all the time anyway, and she gets breathed on whenever your mum holds her. Which is not good!
