At what age did you start using a duvet in LO's cot?

I'm going to get one when he's one. 4.5 tog. And a pillow.

Just in time for the winter, he'll be lovely and toasty!

Yeah my LO is 1 in December and I'm thinking about it now but I don't know the wrongs and rights as to doing it

You can always try it out, and if they don't get on with it, go back to grobags or whatever your using and try the duvet in another couple of months. My LO is 1 in Nov. he is starting to move around less in the bed, so I reckon he is getting readier IYSWIM?

DS is 18mo and still in grobags. He's a total wriggler!

18months, when they started taking the grobags off. We tuck the duvets in at the bottom and one side and halfway up the other side, they love them. Asda do a great duvet and pillow and cases, think we paid £40 for the whole lots (twins so two lots for that).

DS1 always sprawled all over the cot so he stayed in grobags til he went into a bed at 2.6.

About 2.5yo. When DD unzipped her sleep bag and refused to get into it. Why change something when it isn't broken?

It's recommended you only use a 4.5tog in cots.

Thanks. Think I will carry on with the sleeping bags.
