My dd is three months and despite her being number three I have no idea how good/ bad her sleeping is. Last night was a typical night-
Slept from about 10pm until 12.30 but wouldn't go back in the crib
then 12.45 until 2.30 in bed with me
Stayed awake for about half an hour with trapped wind
Slept from 3 until 5.30 in bed with me
Woke about 7 am
She seemed genuinely hungry at each wakening and had a proper feed each time. If she isn't hungry she won't take it but a quick cuddle normally sorts her out. Her problem is trapped wind, which can take hours to come out ( gas rather than burpy wind!) and makes her really unsettled, writhing about and bringing her knees up to her chest. If she lies next to me she can sleep through it ok but gets more unsettled in the cot.
I wasn't overly concerned by this as I'm getting chunks of sleep but would like her to sleep in her crib more. More sleep wouldn't ever go amiss though! However, sooo many people have told me their babies are sleeping 10 til 6 or 9 til 7 etc, most with babies younger than mine!
Any tips or reassurance that this is /isn't normal would be appreciated!
