We currently take my 20 week old dd up to bed at 9, we do the bed routine etc and she breast feeds to sleep by about half 10, 11.

I want my evenings back! How do I start to get her to sleep at 7. We tried taking her up then one night but she spent over 2 hours feeding and was then up a few times in the night, when generally she sleeps at least 6 hours in one stretch.

She's going into her own room soon and I don't want my evenings of only coming to bed at 11 when my dh is asleep.

Hmmm I remember this phase, can't remember when it stopped though, but it will pass. Sorry I'm pretty rubbish, hopefully this will bump for you :)

What times does she nap?

BoohPear · 15/08/2013 08:29

In the afternoon she'll nap around half 3, half 5 and half 7. She naps for half an hour each time.

We realised dd was getting grouchy in the evenings so just started doing the bedtime routine at the same time as ds's about 7pm. However I bf her to sleep then about 30 minutes later she wakes, has some more, sleeps, more feed etc until 9 then I can usually relax a bit more (not always though). I find that going up and down to see her/ cluster feeding is best for me and her as I can at least have snippets of child free time!
