Rolling baby!

Baby has learnt to roll and that's all he does when I put him down for naps/sleeps. It's constant. I lay him down, he rolls over, cries as can't get back, and repeat until baby is crying and exhausted! What do you do?

Encourage them to learn to roll the other way! or put them down asleep for a while!

It's awful but it won't last long! Soon he'll get much better at rolling both ways.

mine did this for a bit. i have found that tucking the bottom of her growbag under the mattress helped for a short while!

Exact same problem here for the past few days, he's exhausted but then rolls over and has his head right up bawling his eyes out :/. Yesterday and today I've gone back to putting him down very drowsy, I hold him until he's almost asleep but avoided rocking etc to try and minimise the disruption to self settling, it seems to be working and although he's still rolling about he's doing it to get comfy. Our main problem is sleep fighting! I'm not sure how long to persevere for :/.

I had this with DS at 10mo, was a pain in the bum. I got tough when I realised he thought it was a game, the little monkey. He would roll on to his front, 'cry' so I'd go in and roll him over and he'd laugh!!!

So one nap time I just put him in his cot and left him to it. And now he always sleeps on his tummy! There was about half an hour of angry shouting until he conked out!
