Can babies get delayed reaction from going to nursery and cry in the night?

My 11 month old has just started nursery and is totally fine with it. She never cries when I leave and is always really happy there. But since she started, she has been waking a lot in the night and crying a lot. I don't think it's teething because her firt 4 teeth came through with not many problems. Could she be waking and thinking "What just happened today? Mummy left me all day!" and her emotions are coming out at night rather than in the day?

no, I don't think so. it's probably a developmental stage, waking in the night and realising she's alone or her teeth could be hurting.

they probably don't do exactly the same routine as what she's used to (sorry, terrible grammar)

so she's prob getting a bit more sleep or a bit less and is overtired

don't blame yourself!

Anything that disrupts their routine can cause this - from going on holiday to learning to crawl. Probably in this case because nursery is so new and exciting that your LO doesn't quite sleep as well.
