Where to put newborn down for daytime naps?

DC2 due soon, and I'm wondering what other people have done for daytime naps? With DC1 we had a moses basket that we just moved around the house with us, wherever we were. But for a variety of reasons we have decided not to have a moses basket this time, and just have a crib set up next to our bed for the night times.
My question is during the day, where should we put DC2 for his nap? Up to his crib with a monitor? Or in a bouncy chair in the room with us? Or in his buggy? Or should I set up a travel cot to be in the main lounge with us?
Any advice would be great!

We had a Moses basket downstairs for day naps, but also a swing seat which DS preferred for naps. DD preferred a bouncy chair, though!

ds2 went to bed with the monitor on. It was much easier than creeping around ds1who as a newborn to 3 month old went to sleep downstairs in a bouncy chair. I then had problems trying to get ds1 asleep in bed! When ds2 was under a week old he was downstairs but that was because I couldn't take my eyes off my beautiful creation !

Wherever they'll sleep? DS sleeps upstairs in his moses basket, and in his bouncy chair and on the babygym, and in a sling.

It was better for me to put ds2 upstairs because ds1 was 3 and couldn't leave him alone and I didn't want ds2 woken up.

FSID recommend they should have all their sleep including daytime naps in the same room as you.

Something about having another body closeby protects them from the worst happening, perhaps because tiny changes in air pressure from your breathing stimulate their lungs to keep working or the noises you make keep them from dropping into too deep a sleep.

When he's little a travelcot will seem very big to him, I think. I used carrycot part of pram, do you have one like that? I wouldn't put him to sleep in a bouncy chair or non-flat pushchair as a regular thing, surely would constrict his breathing a bit and not good for their back. Also wouldn't put him upstairs alone, monitor doesn't negate the SIDS risk from doing that. Why not a moses basket for naps?

We had an old fashioned pram with a carrycot which was perfect - I bought a thicker mattress for it from Mothercare.

We always popped our newborn in his cot, as the dogs were always milling about I didn't want to leave a basket/seat unattended with them about. And tbh we didn't have a monitor, I have always heard him.

dc3 is 8wks she naps on me in the sling/carseat when traveling or pram when out im terrified of sids and can't have her out of reach.

I used the carrycot on the pram.
