What time does your 9 month old have dinner?

My 9 month old DD was a great sleeper until a few months ago. I experienced the same regression with my now 3yr old DS but can't remember how we dealt with it!

She naps fine and goes to bed around 7pm. She used to sleep until 11pm, had a feed and then another one in the night.

I'm not bothered about her sleeping through at moment as I know this will happen in due course but what I need to get to grips with is her waking in the evening.

She'll wake after an hour, screaming blue murder and won't go down unless we feed her. I have had moderate success with CC but we can't crack this particular problem.

Thing is, I've always fed both kids their dinner at 5pm. She has pasta or whatever, then a yogurt and then 6-7oz milk at 6.30. It occurred to me last nght that she's simply having too much to eat and is waking up because she's got tummy ache but she'll neck a bottle of milk at 8-9pm.

I just wondered whether I should bring their tea forward by an hour, so she has it at 4pm or should I just not bother with the milk feed at 6.30pm?

I would keep it the same time tbh. Any earlier and she will be starving at 4am!
So I would say 5/5.30 dinner
6.30/7pm milk

What is she eating for dinner? You mention pasta as an example, she might be getting bloated from too many carbs ( especially if having toast/ bread etc also through the day)

I would keep same feeding schedule but change foods. For a couple of days try going pasta/ bread free to see if it has any affect ( possible gluten allergy ) eggs for breakfast, just fish/ meat/ veg for lunch/ dinner and fruits

Last week she was so tired she fell asleep before I could give her the milk feed and she slept from 7pm until midnight so I might try skipping it tonight to see if that has an effect.

I just want my evenings back!
