9 weeks - how much day sleep?

DD is 9 weeks. She is ebf. I'm roughly trying to do "feed, play, sleep" in terms of routine. But she's very difficult to settle in daytime, unless she is on me. lately not even being on me is a guarantee of sleep! She will sometimes do a long sleep at nightWink but this also means that I need to feed very regularly in the day. This means she rarely sleeps more than 45 mins in the day. Are we doing something wrong?

example - today she woke for the day at 8, having had a feed at 4.30. She fed again at 10.40,.without a sleep in between. I was shattered so DH took her out after that feed for just over an hour and she had two short catnaps on the walk. She fed again as soon as they got back. She looked tired after that but didn't settle for a while. DH managed to settle her in the basket for about half an hour (until 4.20) and I fed again. She fell asleep on me about 6, DH came home and transferred her to the cot at about 7, by 7.45 she woke, I fed again. She then went down to bed about 9.30.
Are we going about this wrong?! I'm worried that maybe she does want to sleep more in the day but we maybe haven't found the way to settle her. Walking around bouncing or swaying with a bit of pat and shush used to do the job but, seems to have stopped working.

is it that she actually wants to be awake, or are we doing something wrong?

I think she may be getting over tired - that is a long time between getting up and first nap for her age. If she is up at 8 try to get her to take a nap by 10 at the latest - going for a nice walk at 9.30 might be the way to do it. Hopefully if she is not overtired she will sleep longer and just wake up to have a feed. Perhaps feed play sleep doesn't work for her and she would be better having her feed right before her sleep (and possibly feeding to sleep).
