Unless they have any underlying health problems I'd have taken ddtwins out in this weather, as you say very wrapped up!

If they're wrapped up and you put the rain cover on I think it should be fine.
I want to take dd out but she has a cold so wont.

They'll be just fine, layer them up and get them all cosy. The fresh air will definitely help them sleep. With twins the buggy really is your best friend!

I walked with my twins in pretty much every weather - lifesaver. Recommend a fleece/blanket under them as well as over themm and remember your own layers (I've left the house without my own coat before). Have a nice time - if its bright they'll benefit from the Vit D too.

Haha DW, I always seem to leave house having forgotten my own coat / gloves / bag / mind....

I take my DD out in - 10 in the buggy. Living in here in sweden, I have no choice. She has a couple of layers, a snow suit and a chunky cozy toes. If anything I have the opposite problem of her getting too hot when we go inside. Going from -10 to over 20. A couple of hats have been lost and thank god for mittens with string.
