Cosleepers - Ikea Gulliver?

Is anyone using one as a cosleeping cot? does it work with a standard double bed?

Looks like it should work fine. Any cot can work as a co sleeper really though you may have to drill extra holes to put the base at the right height for your bed. Then you just cable tie/bungee it to your bed so it doesn't move. You will probably have to shunt the mattress over to be right up against yours. Stuff the gap on the other side with a rolled up towel under the sheet and hey presto.

We have this! our bed is a standard height and the higher height of the cot fits perfectly! Such a cheap solution to the bedside cot :)

We're using it - if you push mattresses tog it leaves a gap at the other side - fella on eBay that makes mattresses for coach built prams - got him to send me a piece of foam fit to size. Mind you dd never ventures to that side of the cot - her favourite place is half in her cot and half in our bed. Makes feeding to sleep soooo easy - feed and roll away!

I was just wondering for those that have used the IKEA gulliver cot as a bedside cot, how they have found it? My main concern is the height - when it is placed on the highest setting to match the bed, is the height then ok for when baby starts to sit up and potentially fall over barrier?
