Ok, i am a pro at this:

Coffee,
cold juice
set a list of jobs to be ticked off as done
plan the day
break it down into half hour tasks
nap when baby naps
Go for a walk, even if its around the block or to the paper shop.
Get up when droopy eyes start and do something, fill dishwasher/clean bath/bung a wahs load in

Go to bed early, get in bed at 7 if you want, just go.

And the big one

Hell yeah, am with you on the coffee front!! Coffee and 2 sugars! Gettin up, walkin about, watchin dvds, talking to baby, or even myself!
When really tired, i also agree with fresh air, and i do like writing myself a good list. I make lists of lists! As i only have a 15 day old, tiredness only seems to hit me after 5 pm. I am up pretty much all night. Mumsnet has been pretty awesome since i joined a few days ago!
