Ds used to sleep used to sleep until about 5am . I would then feed him and he would gurgle for a while and go back to sleep until about 7am. I don't think I realised how good this was until he started waking at 3am (on a good day 4am) I would b/feed him but he does not really settle after. This has gone on for about 2 weeks and I am feeling really rough.
I can't really think of why he has changed he has been on solids for about a month , do you think I might not be giving him enough? He is on 3 small meals. His tea is usually about 4.30pm and is cooked apple/pear/bannana. At about midday he has pureed veg and baby cereal for his breakfast. I tried giving him his last meal at 6pm last night but it didn't make any difference. He goes to sleep about 7.30pm after a b/f. He has 2 or 3 small sleeps in the day totaling aboutone and a half hours maximum.
Has anyone had a similar experience and can offer some much needed advice. I am off to a panto with dd in a few hours(not much chance of a bit of shuteye there!!) so will check later. Thanks

you must be shattered! my daughters been a bit restless early morning lately but it turns out shes got a cold do you think your ds is ill?

Thanks for your reply. No I don't think he is ill . I know I need to change my routine somehow but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Last night I put earplugs in - I could still hear if he cried but mananged to doze when he was just restless and moaning a bit > He used to take a dummy but now mostly spits it out. Today dh looked after him and he slept for 2hrs at lunchtime
