Swaddle blanket

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a swaddle blanket in a size 3-6 month?

I had a growbag swaddle blanket which was great but dd is too big for it now and they only come in one size. I'm struggling along with a cellular blanket but I just can't get it tight enough for my wriggly baby!

I liked the look of the Swaddleme graduate but it got poor reviews. The wombies look good but at £30, I'd rather know if they're any good!

I would definitely recommend the woombie! my ds always used to get out of his swaddle so when i found the woombie it was a bit of a god send! i think i had the 3-6 month size first, then moved on to the 6 month + one, which has little clips on where you put baby's arms through when you want to wean him off. (i eventually started putting one of his arms out, and then the other...had to because he moved from moses basket into his cot and i was worried he'd roll over). my little man seemed to sleep better when he was in his, and if you have a little houdini on your hands the woombie is ideal. it is a bit pricey but they are good quality and i figured that it would be worth it since its something he would use everyday.

I may be old fashioned, but can't you swaddle a baby with any blanket you have to hand? What's special about a "swaddle blanket"?

Suedpantsoffem the one I had was super stretchy and allowed DD to move but not burst free. When she was tiny I did just use a small cellular blanket but now that she bigger I need something better than my current blanket as she's disturbing herself.

Some blankets have velcro or other ways to make sure they can't escape.

It was my mil that bought me my first swaddle blanket and although sceptical at first, loved it!

Ah! It's surprising how much things change in only 15 years! Thankyou for enlightening me Smile
