Cot mattress wedges - any experience?

Morning all. My adorable 6 wk old DD is an extremely noisy/grunty sleeper when laid flat in her bed nest and she's also a little minx at holding on to her wind. When feeding on the sofa, I build up the firm cushions at an angle so we can both lie down to BF - this seems to help bring her wind up and she also sleeps quieter, so I'm coming to the conclusion that she's more comfortable at an angle and using my breast as a pillow.

I've had a look into this and found out about "reflux wedges" which are also supposed to be good for decongestion (the grunting?). Has anyone ever used one of these? What did you find?

Thanks

Congrats on the adorable DD! Our DS (17wo now) used to also get very congested at night, and a bit refluxy, so we just put a number of folded up pillows under the mattress in his moses basket. THink we started about 4wo Hadn't heard of reflux wedges but we had read that an angle could help so we just improvised. It definitely helped his congestion and he seemed to sleep better, though it might just have been his body clock getting used to things.

Hiya - we used the Clevamama sleep positioner/wedge for DS. He was an unbelievably noisy sleeper at night and would often wake himself up crying with his grunting and snorting, poor love. Used to terrify us.
He grew out of it though, I don't think it was anything we did in particular.

Anyway, he seemed very comfortable on it, although did tend to slip down it during the night as he is a bit of a fidget bum.

My DS has reflux as do I. GP advised me years ago to raise the head of the bed with books. I do the same for LO & it works a treat.

DS was also a noisy sleeper & quite congested but it has lessened as he's got a bit bigger.
