Did my twins 'sleep through the night'?

I mean without a feeding. Heres what has been going on.From 9 weeks to 11 they generally slept from (bedtime) 7pm to a 4am feeding then back to sleep about 8am. I thought it was amazing and more than happy with the 4am feed as I kept telling everyone it was all I could expect. They are 12 weeks old now and last night at 4am last one of my dts's woke and fidgeted a bit as they always do. I usually lay there waiting anxiously for smaking of the lips sucking hands etc they very rarely seem to get to the crying stage at night now but of course they do if I havent woke. Last night these noises didnt happen and he went very quiet dropped off to sleep next thing I knew it was morning! 6am! and he was crying for milk. I should be elated and I am but have mixed feelings. My question is when he woke should I have fed him? He didnt make hungry noises and didnt cry but surely if he wasnt hungry he would have slept right through? Im also thinking if he was hungry he would def let me know they always do in the day! Am I wrong in thinking 12 weeks is too young? Did they actually sleep through or am I a very bad mammy? (guilt guilt). As an added note they weigh about 12 1/2 lbs and in the day eat 6-7oz 5 times so they do get plenty of milk and wet and dirty nappies.

Hello mine I have 12wk old twins and I'm Envy!!

Seriuosly I dont think you should worry, if theyvare healthy and thriving just enjoy it!!

Dd1 used to sleep 8-8 at 12 weeks, only having 4 feeds a day, HV wasnt inpressed but there was NO way I was waking her up after having hardly any sleep at all the first three months, she suffered no ill effects and shes now a happy if a bit hormonal 11 yo!

Don't worry. A healthy baby will let you know when they're hungry. It's only prems/underweight babies who should be woken to feed. I'd keep doing what you're doing, make sure they're taking good feeds every few hours during the day and thank your lucky stars!!
