Cutting down night feeds without much crying??

Dd turns 5months tomorrow and is still feeding every 2.5 hrs overnight. Probably because I am too soft/lazy to do anything about it. I am thinking of realistically trying something else at every other wake up like getting DH to rock her back to sleep or a bit of boiled water. I'm sure she can't be that hungry - she feds a lot in daytime too.

Sorry I never got the question across - any other ideas?

My DD is now 24 weeks, and I only discovered a week or two ago that she no longer needs feeding in the night. She only feed once or twice anyway so used to automatically feed her. I only discovered it when she fell asleep before my milk had even let down. So after that I just rocked back to sleep when she woke, unless she really cried. Ie hunger! I now for the last 5 nights been doing nectarinas technique and just had 2 sleep thro nights with her!! Amazing. U must try it!! On what worked for us thread xx
