13 month old waking up middle of the night

My 13 month old son used to sleep through the night, but for the past 7 weeks is waking up around 3am. The only thing that will settle him is a few fl.oz of milk. He eats really well during the day and has never been fussy with his food, so I don't think he can be hungry. I think he is waking up out of habit now. Has anyone any suggestions on how to break this habit or any explanations why he might be waking...? I know it might be teething, but there are no other teething symptoms and no visible teeth coming through. He sleeps for an hour and half at lunch and sometimes naps in car in the morning if out and about. Is this too much/too little sleep? Any advice gladly welcomed! Thank you

Is he learning to walk or talk? My babies are 16 months, and although they've never slept through, their waking is defiantly more frequent just before and after they started walking and when they learned a new word.

Personally, I'd just go with it and feed him. But that might be why my babies don't sleep through!

He's been walking a couple of months now, but he is learning to talk, I had never thought that might be the reason. Quite possibly I guess... Thank you!

what time does he nap & what time is his bedtime? and how is he when he wakes in the night - crying/screaming/happy?

He naps in the daytime 12-2pm. Then he goes to bed around 6.45pm. He wakes in the night usually between 3-4am. When he wakes up he's crying, but it's a slow-crying, if you know what I mean...? If I leave him to cry it out, it wakes up my daughter. I have started settling him with some water, which he sometimes takes, but he really wants a bottle of milk!
