Just feeling quite pleased today because last night, 11 week old ds went to bed at half 7 and slept until 7am with one feed in night at half two!! Hurrah! Hope it's not a one off! Only thing that kept waking us last night was bloody stupid monitor making really loud mobile phone interference noises!!!! Are there any that don't do that coz I could have happily smashed it to smithereens last night!!

Hurrah! That's great. Don't be discouraged if he regresses, it's quite normal at this age. What's positive is that he can do it, so will in all likelihood start to do it on a regular basis very soon.

Is your monitor digital (DECT)? They tend not to make static and only come on when there's actual noise. We have the basic BT digital one, cost about £60. The ones with the aerials are the noisy ones, I think...

What's his feeding routine and what was his feeding routine before this? That sounds like the night of my dreams (if I was asleep long enough to dream!)

Weeeelll, he hasn't done it again since then!!! he's been waking again twice for night feeds BUT, settling much better inbetween feeds...he is still quite different every day really in terms of feeding but roughly feeds every 3 to 4 hours in day, sometimes goes 5 hours and he has first bottle about half seven to eight in morn then 6 - 7 at night with 7 to 7.30 bed time. The, he will wake up for feed anything between half 12 and half 2 then again anyway between half three and 5!!

We might try getting him out and feeding him at 11 whether he wakes or not and see if this helps...

Was going to suggest this. A dream feed at 10/11 can often help to sustain them longer so they only require one night feed. However, for some it doesn't make any difference so give it a go and see what happens.

I would also rouse him a little bit at the dream feed so a) he takes more and b) he's likely to sleep better the rest of the night. (of course, if you feel mean waking him, that's fair enough!!)
