Sleep consultant recommendations - Hampshire area

Hi

This is the first time I've posted on this site and sleep deprivation has brought me here! Basically, my 9 month old daughter cannot self-soothe and can only fall asleep while nursing. I have tried to break this sleep-association and had limited success using the tips in the "No cry sleep approach" book, but we're agreed that the time has come to bring in professional help, especially as I'll be returning to work in five weeks' time.

If anybody can recommend a sleep consultant they've used with success who operates in Hampshire (I'm near Winchester), I'd love to hear from you.

Many thanks.

Bumping an old post here, OP, but I'm also looking for a sleep expert near Winchester and wondered if you found anyone in the end, and if you had some success!

We used Nicola Watson, Child Sleep Solutions. All over the phone, she was so lovely and supportive. It took about six weeks, with two bouts of illness that meant we had to stop and then start all over but we went from having a 13 month old who had NEVER EVER slept through to one that does almost all the time, teething and colds allowing. www.childsleepsolutions.co.uk/#

Look at all my sleep related posts over the last year, I well sympathise
It suddenly got better for us at 1 year as ds became mobile and thus fully tired, plus nursery stimulation
Tbh I read everything and in the end it was me literally hanging minutes away from a full breakdown at 4am that I dumped him in his cot, screaming, put gentle music on and headed to spare room... And woke at 7 (was profess for then!!)
Carried on and tbh the middle of nights stopped almost immediately unless Ill or teething... He was 9mo
the bugger still refuses to let me sleep on holiday though and we're back to hideous nights
Hope you get rest soon
