Growth spurt or reflux - 3 month old no longer sleeping through the night?

My baby boy was capable of sleeping for 11 hour stretches at night from as young as 6 weeks old - not every night but up until 11 weeks, he would sleep from 7pm to 5am or 7am a couple of nights a week. For the last week, he cannot go for more than 4 hours without waking up starving. For some reason the volume of food that he will take has decreased steadily. He used to take 6 oz and will now only take 4 at each feed. He is being sick more and is harder to wind. I assumed this was a big 12 week growth spurt but why is he eating LESS when I'm trying to get MORE in him at each feed (during the day) so he won't wake up at night? I'm at my wits end. We've had to introduce a dream feed at 11 which doesn't always work. Something must be wrong - could he have developed reflux at 11 weeks? I just don't get it - i desperately want my old baby back.

We have just come through something similar with our DS who is now 15 weeks. I tried the same as you and it didn't help. In the end we put him on hungry baby Aptamil and made him go longer between feeds so feeding 6, 9,12,3, 6 and 10.15 and giving him bigger amounts. When he woke in the night I fed him but last week we found he was n't taking much and not wanting the 6am feed so now if he wakes I try and get him back to sleep and not feed during the night. Fingers crossed it seems to be working. He is eating better and slept through to between 5 and 6 this week. It is difficult when they sleep through and then stop but after reading loads on MN they don't always sleep consistently. If you are worried about reflux might be worth checking with GP, good luck.
