Hi first time on MN so please be kind!
My DS is 13 weeks and has mostly been a decent sleeper. He goes to bed at 6pm after bath and has his bottle and then straight of to sleep, my DP then gives a dream feed about 10.15 and then back in cot. He can sometimes sleep through till 5.30 other times waking between 3 and 4 for a feed. For the last few nights he has pretty much refused his dream feed, should we keep trying or just drop it and see what happens? I appreciate that most babies sleep patterns can be erratic at this age but as a first time mum and slight control freak I constantly analyse what I am doing!
I would greatful for any advice.

My dd2 is at the same point and we have a v similar routine. I would keep trying for a bit longer as it might be teething or them feeling a bit off colour and it might well pick up again Smile

Personally I would drop it.

I tried dreamfeeding mine for a while when she was younger and she started to refuse after a few weeks so I just left it. She is absolutely fine. It's hard but remember if she needs something she will let you know! If it makes you feel any better I am a control freak too and this manifested itself in all its glory once my princess was born! My HV told me I had OCD as well as hypochondria :)

i agree with lovebeingafirework, if d.s is refusing dreamfeed he obviously doesn't want it. he will probably change his mind again in a couple of weeks tho. Like mauwmauw says, if he wants it he'll soon let you know! I remember at this stage my two changed their feeding habits constantly so just go with the flow.
