Hi everyone,
my 17 week ds is usually going to bed at about 8.30 after a little bed time routine, and I put him in the cot asleep. I've tried getting him in the cot when he's not quite asleep to give him the chance to try self settling, and he's done it a few times, but I've decided for now it's easier to put him down asleep and I'll try the self settling/ no cry sleep thing again in a month or so.

We were doing well with bedtime, and he would sleep until about 11 or so before waking for a feed, then maybe go another 3 hours, then wake more frequently even though not hungry, until I would give in and take him into bed so he could feed/suck and I could sleep. Now however, he is waking about an hour or even less after going to bed, and I often can't get him into the cot again, he just wakes every time I put him down and then cries, so no chance of self settling. This means he ends up in bed with me for most of the night, but I would rather he slept in the cot. I'm not really against co-sleeping, and he's ok at the moment in the bed but I'm worried that when he gets mobile he could fall out (he learned to roll over a couple of days ago).

Anyway, well done for reading all this, sorry it's a bit long, but I suppose my question is how can I get ds to stay asleep when he goes to bed, and stop waking between feeds in general.
Thanks :)

Hi, i'm in a similar boat. My ds is 13 weeks and has started to take a lot more settling to get to bed and has more frequent wakings through the night.
My baby monitor has lullabys on it and I find these help him to settle. I keep them on until we come to bed so there is always nice noise on for him. He does, however, always end up in our bed at some point!!
