Wriggly Sleeper

Does anyone else have a wriggly sleeper?
My 9 month old sleeps well from when he goes to bed 7-730pm until about 1am. He then wakes up on and off for the rest of the night. He wriggles around a lot, which I think wakes him up. I do make sure he has his dummy and put the cover back over him and he settles down for a while. Most nights I end up co-sleeping with him anytime from 1am onwards, so that we both get some sleep.
He is still in with us, but I am planning on putting him in his own room at Easter, so I am hoping this might help.

Have you tried sleeping him in a gro bag?
My daughter found this helped with her son. He was a really bad sleeper but once he walked he was so active that he wore himself out and now asks to go to bed and sleeps like a log!!! maybe all the wriggling means he will be extra active as a toddler and really tire himself out.

Does your DS sleep on front or back? You could try him on his front to see if he wriggles less. But he might turn back over straight away. Helped my LO, though.

Also, is it possible your baby is shuffling and wriggling because the dummy's fallen out and he's looking for it? Some babies become quite dependent on the dummy to fall to sleep and make a right old fuss when they find it's been dislodged - I have a DS like this and I've just decided to bin the dummy for that reason.

Was using a gro bag on him but stopped a while ago, not sure why. Will try it again.
He goes to sleep on his side, but turns onto his front during the night.

He may well be looking for his dummy, not thought of this. He does go to sleep with a dummy. Sometimes he does push it out when he has only been asleep for a short time.
Thanks for the ideas.
